New Moon Is Idol Worship

Isa 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Isa 1:14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
Isa 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
See the excerpt verses in Isaiah. read the entire chapter for discernment. We have been fooled into believing the new moons. It is idol worship in it's own right.
The first city destroyed by Israel when they crossed the Jordan was Jericho. Known to us ON THE SURFACE as the city of palm trees, but known more correctly as is established by rabbinic sages, as the city of the moon. The Word "Jericho" AND SINCE THERE IS NO "J", BEING THAT IT IS A FALSE LETTER CONTRIVED TO DECEIVE US) let us consider it as Yericho. The name is derived from the Hebrew word for moon :

From the same as H3391; the moon: - moon.
NO WHERE IN TORAH does YHWH ever command that we begin months in this manner. If you or anyone else can find not one verse but two as is required to present TWO witnesses to confirm a truth then I will humbly submit I was wrong.
We really need to begin thinking OUTSIDE the BOX we have been house trained in.
Now let's look at "Jericho":

yer-ee-kho', yer-ay-kho', yer-ee-kho'
Perhaps from H3394; its month; or else from H7306; fragrant; Jericho or Jerecho, a place in Palestine: - Jericho.
It points us right back the word definition for "moon" H3394.
2 Chron 2:4 the actual definition for "new moons":

חדשׁ
chôdesh
kho'-desh
From H2318; the new moon; by implication a month: - month (-ly), new moon.
Chodesh being used here to indicate a new MONTH,. THIS is NOT the word for MOON, even though we find English words within this definition to INFER new moon, LOOK AT THE HEBREW WORD before making any assumptions.
The actual wording then, should be:
2Ch 2:4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, --in the set apart months-- and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.
Chodesh being the word for SET APART for which there are ONLY TWO months in which we set apart for YHWH---the 1st and the 7th.

Here is yet another verse including rabbinic commentary from Stone's Edition of the Tanach:
Isa 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed; for the LORD of hosts will reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before His elders shall be Glory.
(Rabbinic Commentary) - They will no longer be worshipped once the glory of God becomes clear for all to see (Targum)

Yesterday, I came across this excerpt on the net. I was already reading Jeremiah's verse about making cakes to the queen of heaven (hot cross buns) and was doing some research. Imagine my surprise when I found this nugget as I had always thought that the shifting of Easter was due to a solar year, but apparently Easter is determined by the cycle of the moon.
Shrove Tuesday is exactly 47 days before Easter Sunday, a moveable feast based on the cycles of the moon
