I Googled this subject and many links came up. I suggest anyone reading this, should do the same. There's just too much out there to copy over but the main consistent definition is this:
The "law of first-mention" is the principle in the interpretation of Scripture which states that the first mention or occurrence of a subject in Scripture establishes an unchangeable pattern, with that subject remaining unchanged in the mind of God throughout Scripture
If we HOLD FAITHFUL to this, then some ideas about HOW scripture is interpreted and how it is taught WILL HAVE TO CHANGE.
It's been my experience that SO FAR, all flavors of Christianity or Judaism have chosen to be "cafeteria" minded about YHWH God's Truth.
This post is the FIRST of many to come that hopefully will lay the foundation for teachings published on this site.
This "law of first-mention" MUST be taken seriously and it must be applied consistently IF we are to reveal what YHWH intended for His Children Israel, and the rest of the world; If we are to fully grasp what it means to be HOLY/Qodesh; If we are to KNOW YHWH intimately.
WHY is this important? BECAUSE ------ it is crucial to KNOW YHWH first and what He requires of us (BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY).
Applying the "law of first-mention" must be embraced and practiced FIRST, if we are to move forward with the objective of this website.
