Why do we heed the words of Paul and not the Messiah Himself?
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Yeshua not only kept Torah in the obvious ways, but He also kept it in ways which to most of us, are hidden. There are four points to share regarding this:
- 1. Yeshua’s keeping of the Pesach (or "last supper") and as the Lamb
- 2. His examination by Pilate ( the lamb being inspected by the priest)
- 3. When He and His disciples were eating ears of corn on a Sabbath.
- 4. Thirty shekels paid.
#1 Keeping the Pesach meal –and- being the Lamb.
Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
The evening and the morning were the first day. Given this pattern to follow, we must conclude that the day is not over until one evening and one morning are completed. So then technically, by commandment, as long as an event falls within that one day, it can still be considered as keeping the statute.
There is provision and commandment for two lambs in Torah:
(Exo 29:39) The one lamb you shall offer in the morning, and the second lamb you shall offer between the evenings.
(Exo 29:41) And you shall offer the second lamb between the evenings; you shall do to it like the morning food offering and its drink offering, for a soothing fragrance, a fire offering to Jehovah.
Mat 26:17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
Mat 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.
Mat 26:19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.
Mat 26:20 Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.
So, HE ate the Pesach meal with His disciples. But we also know that He was Pesach Lamb to be sacrificed and in order for that commandment to be kept, He must be crucified on that same fourteenth day.
According to the timeline, He was. It was at the ninth hour of the following day (which technically and even more so legally was still the fourteenth day) that EHYEHshua died and so completed His task.
These verses below tell us that those who wanted to kill EHYEHshua, did not want to do it on the feast day to avoid the uproar. By their laws and rules, they did so, but it was still in keeping with Torah.
Mat 26:2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
Mat 26:3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
Mat 26:4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.
Mat 26:5 But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

Another possible theory to clear up the confusion regarding "between the evenings" and how it plays into two Passovers and which one was legal.
IF two calendars were being kept at that time (which apparently, according to rabbinic sages there were) then let's look at this more closely.
The Pharisees, scribes and elders wanted to wait until AFTER their feast day, lest there be an uproar. So....did EHYEHshua keep the "Last Supper"/Pesach as did most? If so, this would be the "feast" spoken of by the Chief Priests, elders and scribes.
We know that EHYEHshua kept the Torah FLAWLESSLY and with that in mind, He MOST DEFINITELY would have kept Passover flawlessly also. This means then, being the PESACH LAMB, He would have been sacrificed as the Pesach lamb is, according to the statues, that is precisely according to Torah, according to the TRUE day as appointed by YHWH.
Could it be then, that He did indeed, die on what we call Friday? If so, then it would have been at 3pm, that afternoon, the same time as the lambs are slaughtered then. It would have been the TRUIE PASSOVER sacrifice made. If this is correct, then the following day would not only be the actual and true Passover, it would also be the Sabbath. But not just any Sabbath. It would be also the high day written of in the Gospel of John:
Joh_19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
It also then, would have been the day AFTER the Jewish feast of Passover according to "their law". I theorize that EHYEHshua and His disciples kept the Jewish feast day in accordance with "their law" in order to keep peace and not draw attention that might have interrupted the fulfillment of the prophecy. Also, then, this would explain quite nicely, why He was able to walk outside, go off to the Garden of Gethsemane and pray there. Again---keeping torah FLAWLESSLY because since it was not the TRUE PESACH, then there was no need to stay inside their houses as YHWH had commanded.
Clearly Judas Iscariot knew it was not the proper Passover. Would he then have gone out with the soldiers to arrest Him?

#2 His examination by Pilate was in keeping with Torah:
Lev 21:10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
The act of rending the clothes, renders the high priest unfit for his duties.
Mat 26:65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
So then, who can inspect the Lamb if Caiaphas became unfit??
Luk 23:4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.
Pilate examined EHYEHshua, finding no fault (or blemish) in Him (The Lamb). Pilate most likely, due to his own admission of his bloodlines, had the Aaronic lines in him. See below:
It is no historical secret that many Israelites fled to Spain. It is historical fact, that 90% of Spain is of Jewish ancestry. So also it can be confirmed in family surname Coat of Arms symbols depicting their Israelite heritage. Below is an excerpt from a letter. An after action report if you will, written by Pilate to Tiberius Caesar, which was discovered in the Vatican library.
Excerpt:
. You know that in my veins flows the Spanish mixed with Roman blood--as incapable of fear as it is of weak emotion. When the Nazarene made his appearance, I was walking in my basilic, and my feet seemed fastened with an iron hand to the marble pavement, and I trembled in every limb as does a guilty culprit, though the Nazarene was as calm as innocence itself.
End of excerpt.
It is written in Torah that the garments of the high priest must not be torn:
Lev 21:10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
It is written that Caiaphas did indeed tear his garments:
Mat 26:65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
Mar 14:63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?
According to Leviticus 21:10, this rendered Caiaphas ineligible to inspect the Pesach Lamb. But, because of the clue in Pilate’s letter about his own bloodlines, this made him fall under the Torah guidelines of being eligible to indeed proclaim Yeshua as being found with no blemish.
Further proof is found in Macabees 1 of blood relationship between certain Romans and the Jews:
1Ma 12:1 Now when Jonathan saw that time served him, he chose certain men, and sent them to Rome, for to confirm and renew the friendship that they had with them.
1Ma 12:2 He sent letters also to the Lacedemonians, and to other places, for the same purpose.
1Ma 12:3 So they went unto Rome, and entered into the senate, and said, Jonathan the high priest, and the people of the Jews, sent us unto you, to the end ye should renew the friendship, which ye had with them, and league, as in former time.
1Ma 12:4 Upon this the Romans gave them letters unto the governors of every place that they should bring them into the land of Judea peaceably.
1Ma 12:5 And this is the copy of the letters which Jonathan wrote to the Lacedemonians:
1Ma 12:6 Jonathan the high priest, and the elders of the nation, and the priests, and the other of the Jews, unto the Lacedemonians their brethren send greeting:
1Ma 12:7 There were letters sent in times past unto Onias the high priest from Darius, who reigned then among you, to signify that ye are our brethren, as the copy here underwritten doth specify.
1Ma 12:8 At which time Onias entreated the ambassador that was sent honourably, and received the letters, wherein declaration was made of the league and friendship.
1Ma 12:9 Therefore we also, albeit we need none of these things, that we have the holy books of scripture in our hands to comfort us,
1Ma 12:10 Have nevertheless attempted to send unto you for the renewing of brotherhood and friendship, lest we should become strangers unto you altogether: for there is a long time passed since ye sent unto us.
1Ma 12:11 We therefore at all times without ceasing, both in our feasts, and other convenient days, do remember you in the sacrifices which we offer, and in our prayers, as reason is, and as it becometh us to think upon our brethren:
1Ma 12:21 It is found in writing, that the Lacedemonians and Jews are brethren, and that they are of the stock of Abraham:
1Ma 14:16 Now when it was heard at Rome, and as far as Sparta, that Jonathan was dead, they were very sorry.
1Ma 14:17 But as soon as they heard that his brother Simon was made high priest in his stead, and ruled the country, and the cities therein:
1Ma 14:18 They wrote unto him in tables of brass, to renew the friendship and league which they had made with Judas and Jonathan his brethren:
1Ma 14:19 Which writings were read before the congregation at Jerusalem.
1Ma 14:20 And this is the copy of the letters that the Lacedemonians sent; The rulers of the Lacedemonians, with the city, unto Simon the high priest, and the elders, and priests, and residue of the people of the Jews, our brethren, send greeting:
1Ma 14:40 For he had heard say, that the Romans had called the Jews their friends and confederates and brethren; and that they had entertained the ambassadors of Simon honourably;
If in fact, Pilate was of Israelite priestly bloodlines, then the Law/Torah was kept.
#3 Eating ears of corn on the Sabbath
After learning more about the biblical feasts, we can determine that the year in which EHYEHshua began His ministry was a Jubilee year:
Lev 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
Isa 49:8 Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Fast forward to just after EHYEHshua returns from the wilderness:
Luk 4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
Luk 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
Luk 4:15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
Luk 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Luk 4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Luk 4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
Mat 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
Mat 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
Mat 12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
Mat 12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
Mat 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
Mat 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
Mat 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
Mat 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
If it was a Jubilee Year, then it would indeed have also been lawful to eat from the field, its yielded produce. So then, this commandment was also kept. See the verse from Torah below:
Lev 25:11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
The second point revealed from the above verses, can be gleaned from EHYEHshua’s words with regard to priests having the lawful right to eat the temple bread. Here, He is inferring or “hinting” that He Himself and those with Him, had a legal right to eat in the temple, by virtue of their inherited Levite blood. The Book of Numbers is where YHWH declares that each tribe allot cities for Levites to live, thereby allowing for intermarrying within each tribe.
#4 Thirty shekels
Lev 27:3 And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
Lev 27:4 And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.
Kind of odd…why would the price for EHYEHshua’s betrayal be thirty as for a female rather than the price for a male??
The answer is that EHYEHshua was being ransomed for the price of the Bride; His people, His inheritance; Israel.

We can add a fifth way in which EHYEHshua kept Torah. When He was baptized by John the Baptist. John was of Aaronic priestly descent thereby giving him the legal right to perform the ritual washing we now call baptism, but in Hebrew is called Mikvah. It is the Aaronic priests who serve the inner court and the high priest who enters the Holy of Holies all being of Aaronic descent. These Aaronites perform all the ritual cleansing and purifying acts required by YHWH as given in Torah.
Both of John's parents were of Aaronite descent. Even though only Elisabeth is mentioned as being of Aaronic descent, Zacharias was also by virtue of what is written with regard to his priestly duties.
Luk 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
Luk 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
Luk 1:7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
Luk 1:8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,
Luk 1:9 According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.

EHYEHshua's legal earthly right to rule and reign and His earthly right to be the High Priest on earth.
We already know that He has the legal earthly right to rule and reign as King here on earth through His bloodline ancestry of both Miriam and Joseph. Even though Joseph was not his blood father, by the culture and tradition of that day, Joseph, being of the house of David, through the royal bloodlines, was his legal earthly father thereby giving EHYEHshua the right to claim as being an heir to the throne.
His mother Miriam, also being of the bloodline of the house of David, also had the bloodlines of the Aaronite lineage as is written and declared by virtue of her cousin Elizabeth who was John the Baptists' mother.
So then, if Miriam's blood relatives were of Aaronite descent, which is proven in scripture, then EHYEHshua also had this bloodline in His earthly lineage.
We find in the book of Hebrews, that a distinction is made with regard to the Law/Torah being done away with as so many believe. It was not Torah that was done away with. It was the sin offering for the people of Israel as a whole and as an individual. ONLY the SIN offering was done away with. We need to stop !!! and read the Word for ourselves. We need to pray and ask for discernment, ask for YHWH to bring forth the truth clearly to us.
Only when we take "man's interpretation" out of the equation, asking that YHWH only show us the truth; Then and only then will we see the words as they are and know exactly what was meant.
Listening to YHWH, our Father, MUST COME FIRST. Teachings MUST line up with scripture precisely.
Who are the saints written of in Revelation? They are those who have the faith and belief in EHYEHshua -AND- keep the commandments.

This all ties in. Jesus really did keep Torah and all Commandments. He had to, because He is the Great I AM and how could He go back even on His own Word?
This first posting in this series of "Jesus Kept The Law" also will help to understand HOW the Divine Calendar in Enoch works. It all begins with Sabbath, keeping it and applying it.
If it all seems like it's going to be long and tedious, please have patience. This is a culmination of years of studying and adding things as they are discovered. That's what this site is all about...laying out the groundwork for a different view. Whether it is the right view is to be decided by YHWH himself, not me or anyone else.
All I ask is that it be read, considered, prayed on and if it still doesn't resonate with you, that's fine. no harm, no fowl (did I spell that right??)
