Could 2017 Be a Jubilee Year?
First, let me say this that I am not date setting by any means.
But over these past few years, the year 2017 has popped up in many different calculations made by various sources coming to it from different things they were looking at. This morning, was no exception.
Seeing these historical dates with regard to the land of Israel before and reading about the history behind them, never putting it together until today as I was looking for something else and stumbled upon a small bible atlas I have with maps and timelines in it.
Anyway....suffice it to say it contains a list of significant historical events that have happened to the land of Israel in the 20th century. Seeing them all listed together made it possible to see this. But you, the reader must decide.
There have been 8 significant historical LAND events to happen to Israel in the 20th century, but two stand out in that they are exactly 50 years apart. All the others, no matter how you look at them, do not do this.
The Balfour Declaration of 1917
The Six Day War of 1967
The Balfour Declaration (dated 2 November 1917) was a letter from the United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour to Baron Rothschild (Walter Rothschild, 2nd Baron Rothschild), a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland.
His Majesty's government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.[1]
The Six Day War Synopsis:
By June 10, Israel had completed its final offensive in the Golan Heights, and a ceasefire was signed the day after. Israel had seized the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank of the Jordan River (including East Jerusalem), and the Golan Heights. Overall, Israel's territory grew by a factor of three, including about one million Arabs placed under Israel's direct control in the newly captured territories. Israel's strategic depth grew to at least 300 kilometers in the south, 60 kilometers in the east and 20 kilometers of extremely rugged terrain in the north, a security asset that would prove useful in the Yom Kippur War six years later.
In short, both of these events had to do with gaining the land back which is connected with what Jubilee is all about.
So...I submit a question. If there is any substance to this, would it be possible to know the next Jubilee if these two events were Jubilee events? If we were to consider them and the possibility, then counting 50 years forward we come to that year of 2017.
I find this possibility intriguing to say the least and perhaps even worthy of consideration since YHWH's times have been mostly lost to us with regard to knowing exactly -what- year it is.
Why today did I find this? Today of all days, Yom Teruah. Does anyone reading this think it coincidence? Does anyone reading this not already know that in Hebrew, there is no coincidence?
Like I said, I am not setting dates for anything. I am just submitting something that seems to fit what EHYEHshua and Shaul tell us that even if we do not know the day or the hour, we being children of the Light, knowing Torah and knowing the seasons of YHWH's Moedim, we can know the times.
Even if this pans out to be nothing, when this year approaches, we can be mindful of it in any case. But if there is anything to this, then we might see Israel gain more land back in the year noted.

Que. Why wasn't Israel restored completed in 1948, including the temple mount?
Ans. In Ezekiel's account of the fall of Jerusalem, God's Spirit departs from the temple and leaves Jerusalem in specific stages (beginning 592 BC) and then comes back in stages 19 years later in 573 BC, (Ezek. 8, 40). In the same way, Israel is now being restored in stages --- each stage on a timeframe predicted by the bible. The next stage in God's plan for Jerusalem also happened exactly 19 years after Israel became a nation in 1948: The 1967, Six-Day War.

The next stage in Israel's restoration was the six-day war waged exactly 19 years later, to the day on the 360 calendar, June 5-10, 1967. In the war, the temple mount was captured along with east Jerusalem. Thus, June 5th, 1967, was also Pentecost on the 360 calendar.
