Over the years and it seems increasingly, I am seeing and reading people's comments with regard to those who keep Sabbath as it being a cult. Wow. Well, either they are paid shills, or they have been completely brainwashed to the Word. God sanctified His 7th day as His Day of Rest for us to pattern after. No, it's not just for Judaism. Judaism was not around when God created the heavens and the earth. This mandate is for ALL humankind. In fact there are many occurrences of Torah found in scripture before Israel was led out of Egypt.
So, for those of us who are feeling convicted in the heart to keep Sabbath, take heart that if it is a cult, then we belong to the Cult of YHWH.
Jesus kept the Torah flawlessly, even if there doesn't seem to be anything (on the surface) concrete in the NT to support it. On this website you will find many studies which prove HOW Jesus kept Torah in ways that are not readily apparent to most Christians because they are typically steered away from the Old Testament.
God SANCTIFIED this day we call Saturday (beginning Friday at sundown). That means it is HOLY and if we keep it out of love for Him, then we enter in to His Holy Day of Rest and we draw closer to Him and He draws closer to us.
Not all will know this yet, but the time IS coming when all will bow their knees and know truth and they will weep.
