Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

The GOD Factor in the True Calendar System

Countless calendars being kept by countless peoples, one has to be correct, right? Wheel of the Stars is the latest one I am reading and I had an epiphany just today, that the one common thread in all the works out there is the missing God Factor. Every idea out there, every theory rides on the sun, moon or stars or a combination thereof and of course even the barley. God has a few things to say (in Job, Deuteronomy, etc) about using these orbs to calculate His times. While the stars might indeed line up to declare certain seasons, and the sun might be noted to be included, these are not in heaven and in Heaven God doesn't use them. This is an earthly thing as AGR points out in his book, used to determine agricultural times for planting and reaping.

In scholarly circles there is this thing called LAW OF FIRST MENTION yet it is completely ignored when it comes to the Hebrew word for MOON.

The first occurrence of NEW MOON isn't until 1st Samuel. That right there is the second clue. The first clue is the word found in TORAH for moon. Y'ereach (spelling might be off). Why is it then, that the phrase NEW MOON, does not contain this word Ye’reach?

LAW of FIRST MENTION dictates TWO distinct and separate things in TORAH:

CHODESH = SANCTIFIED (as in the 7th day)

Y' ereach = MOON.

In all the other languages of the earth, words used to describe the moon and phases of the moon include their word for moon. Every single time. Hebrew is the exception. English is the biggest clue:

Moon, new moon, full moon, gibbous moon, blue moon, harvest moon, blood moon, etc. By now we get the point, right? This same pattern extends into every other language of the nations.

Math is not needed beloved. Only common sense and not listening to the madness out there. LISTEN to the Word and what God says.

DYK that the word SANCTIFIED has a meaning of RENEW< REBUILD<REPAIR in it? You won't find it in the first definition, but look to the one that is referenced in the Strong’s. IOWs, follow the word trails back to the ROOT.

Have we misunderstood what is going on or have we been misled by errant but well meaning teachers?

God is all about numbers this is true. NUMBERS. He never names the days of the week, nor does He name the months. Pagans have done that. However, we can look to that first week of time, when God began counting using numbers and we can know (if we trust God implicitly) that God set down the rules in that first week. The 7th day repeats precisely every week and has been doing that ever since that first week. How do we know this is right??? Do we trust our Creator?? We better!!

Common sense dictates this: If God SANCTIFIED and blessed the 7th day....then the enemy, the adversary, mankind cannot touch it. EVER. In short, we can trust that this day of the week which has been declared CLEAN and SET APART by God is the same and has never changed. Otherwise, that sign that God gave Israel, so they would know who He was and they were to Him, would be WORTHLESS.

Having said that then, God also declared to Israel that He was HOLY and He demands that His people be HOLY also. Wouldn’ that also apply to His Appointed Times, that they should fall on HIS Holy days? If we look up the Hebrew word for HOLY, we find something remarkable. By only the change of vowels we have the EXACT SAME ROOT WORD as CHODESH. Hmm.

More logic dictates if we try to argue that the word CHODESH is exclusively NEW MOON. Is God calling the new moon HOLY? If so, why would He not call the sun and the stars Holy also??? hmm. Is the new moon  greater than all the others? According to Genesis the moon is the LESSER light. To apply HOLINESS to this orb, borders on pagan idol worship of said moon does it not?

So, this brings up another subject then...which calendar system is correct? We have lunar, solar/lunar; we have 360,364, 365.xxx. Then adding to that mix, we have debates about HOW to begin them. Do we use the sun, the moon, the stars or a combination thereof? Well, WDGD? What did God do? The sun and moon and stars were not yet created when He began counting His days of Creation. Logic again dictates the orbs would not be used.

In our solar year, we have trouble fitting 360 and even 364 without some sort of lag and drift. For now, that has to remain a mystery until God declares it revealed.

I submit that we do our best to understand HIS calendar system as it was laid out in Enoch. It tells that we will err in understanding the days and months and we will use the intercalary days incorrectly and place them out of the proper order.

God is all about REPEATING PATTERNS. Why? First, He loves order and neatness. Second, He knows, we need repeating patterns in order to be taught. He is not chaos and disorder and in fact the WORD SHALOM that is commonly known to mean PEACE, is actually a lot more extensive in that in means, order, harmony, perfection.

Many in the 364 day camp attempt to apply those 364 days, trying to make them fit into our solar year of 365.xxx. It won't work, no matter how you slice it.

The best thing to do is to throw out all preformed ideas and begin with a clean slate, might I even say a CHODESH slate.

Many in the 364 day camp, throw out the intercalary days, putting them either in front of 12/30day months, or at the end. What they have failed to take into consideration is that these four days are called INTER – CALARY for a reason. Meaning they are placed inbetween at certain intervals.

With that in mind, keeping also that Sabbath patterns are paramount and must be included in the proper understanding and layout of said 364 day year, here we have this:

3/30 day months of which the first month begins on what we call Sunday (a first day of the week set in place by God Himself, but given a name by mankind). THEN we have an intercalary day.

This order repeats 3 more times to complete a year of 360 days plus the four intercalary days making a total of days for the year 364 but the four are not reckoned in any month. Their purpose is unique and solitary.

In the Book of Enoch it states that the months are 30 days each, they are 12 in the year (360)

In the Book of Enoch it states that the intercalary days are four and NOT COUNTED in the months. NOT COUNTED ---  IN the months.

Not part of the months.

BUT it does also say that they are counted to total the year out at 364. They are counted together with the 360 days of months to complete the year precisely.

If this still sounds confusing, I apologize in that this is very difficult to teach without being in front of the layout,  that is something you could lay eyes on.

What is wonderful about this, is once you know the first set of 3 months, once you know how the intercalary days work, they are exactly the same in the subsequent sets of 3 months followed each by their own intercalary separator.

And here is something else:

Each of the four intercalary days will ALWAYS be a Sabbath day, that is a seventh day of the week. THESE intercalary Sabbath days are the ones that truly should be called CHODESH, in that they RENEW< RESET< REPAIR<REBUILD the next set of three months. Well, WHY do they do that and what is the purpose, you might ask? Glad you asked!

God is HOLY and CLEAN. God requires Holiness in His place, in His people and in his Appointed Times.

Are we that blind to not see that His Appointed Times would line up and fall upon His only SANCTIFIED day of the week?

Here is simple logic. Here is common sense. Here is the God factor.
