22nd day, 7th month (8th day, the Great Feast Day)

The Spring Feast days of YHWH have been fulfilled. The Fall Feast Days have not.

As the traditional Hebrew wedding process is related to, we see in these Feast Days, both Spring and Fall, the actions of the Bridegroom seeking His Bride and how He goes about doing this.

Below are verses relevant to the Feast of Succoth, also known as the Feast of Booths. This event takes p[lace on the 15th day through the 21st day of the 7th month. Hebrew wedding tradition is that the Bride and Groom are married under the Chuppah which is also known as a "pavilion" .

Psa 27:5  ForH3588 in the timeH3117 of troubleH7451 he shall hideH6845 me in his pavilion:H5520 in the secretH5643 of his tabernacleH168 shall he hideH5641 me; he shall set me upH7311 upon a rock.H6697

The above verse the word "pavilion" is Suka in Hebrew. This will be a Succoth event.

H5520 "pavilion"

סך

sôk

soke

From H5526; a hut (as of entwined boughs); also a lair: - covert, den, pavilion, tabernacle.

H5526

שׂכך    סכך

sâkak  śâkak

saw-kak', saw-kak'

A primitive root; properly to entwine as a screen; by implication to fence in, cover over, (figuratively) protect: - cover, defence, defend, hedge in, join together, set, shut up.

H5523 "Succoth"

סכּת    סכּות

sûkkôth  sûkkôth

sook-kohth', sook-kohth'

Plural of H5521; booths; Succoth, the name of a place in Egypt and of three in Palestine: - Succoth.

H5521

סכּה

sûkkâh

sook-kaw'

Feminine of H5520; a hut or lair: - booth, cottage, covert, pavilion, tabernacle, tent.

See the Book of Jonah -

Jon 4:5  So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.

Jon 4:5  So JonahH3124 went outH3318 ofH4480 the city,H5892 and satH3427 on the east sideH4480 H6924 of the city,H5892 and thereH8033 madeH6213 him a booth,H5521 and satH3427 underH8478 it in the shadow,H6738 tillH5704 he might seeH7200 whatH4100 would becomeH1961 of the city.H5892

H3124 "Jonah"

יונה

yônâh

yo-naw'

The same as H3123; Jonah, an Israelite: - Jonah.

H3123

יונה

yônâh

yo-naw'

Probably from the same as H3196; a dove (apparently from the warmth of their mating): - dove, pigeon.

The DOVE is seen as a symbol of the HOLY SPIRIT. Replacing Jonah's name with this concept:

Jon 4:5  So the Holy Spirit went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.

H5521 "booth"

סכּה

sûkkâh

sook-kaw'

Feminine of H5520; a hut or lair: - booth, cottage, covert, pavilion, tabernacle, tent.

H5520

סך

sôk

soke

From H5526; a hut (as of entwined boughs); also a lair: - covert, den, pavilion, tabernacle.

Let's consider these things in light of the Fall Feast Days, the possible taking away of the Holy Spirit (in what form we do not know, meaning whether just the Spirit or also the people in which it resides, meaning the "church").

1. Jonah = the Holy Spirit (Dove)

2. Going out of the city to the "east side". This is where the gate to the Tabernacle and the Temple were located. The East side of the camp in the Wilderness was where Judah camped.

3. Jonah made a booth and sat under it. Did he make a booth because it was the time of Succoth?

The Transfiguration on the Mount also suggested it was that time of year:

Mat 17:1  And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

Mat 17:2  And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Mat 17:3  And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Mat 17:4  Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

In the Hebrew Wedding Tradition, after the Bridegroom and the intended Bride have agreed to wed and become Betrothed (through the Passover Cup of Wine), the Bridegroom then leaves and returns to His Father's house and builds a home for His Bride. It is only by declaration of the Father, who determines when the House is ready, that the Bridegroom is told to go and bring His Bride back for the Wedding. Only the Father knows this day:

Mat 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mat 25:1  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Mat 25:2  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

Mat 25:3  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Mat 25:4  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

Mat 25:5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Mat 25:6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Mat 25:7  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

Mat 25:8  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

Mat 25:9  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Mat 25:10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Mat 25:11  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Mat 25:12  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Mat 25:13  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
