Yesterday I put together the first part, not realizing there would be more to this. Just this morning reading at the table during breakfast, I have a KJV and an Hebraic Roots Version bible. I compare them verse for verse and I have been reading in Zephaniah and saw in chapter 3 verse 17 the word “silent” again. Below is the verse and its KJV counterpart:

3:17(HRV)  YHWH your Elohim is in the midst of you, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be silent in His love, He will joy over you with singing.

Here is the KJV counterpart and below that all the verses following needed in context.

Zep 3:17  The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Zep 3:18  I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.

Zep 3:19  Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

Zep 3:20  At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

Here also in the JPS, we find the word “silent”:

Zep 3:17  The LORD thy God is in the midst of thee, a Mighty One who will save; He will rejoice over thee with joy, He will be silent in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.'

Zep 3:18  I will gather them that are far from the appointed season, who are of thee, that hast borne the burden of reproach.

Zep 3:19  Behold, at that time I will deal with all them that afflict thee; and I will save her that is lame, and gather her that was driven away; and I will make them to be a praise and a name, whose shame hath been in all the earth.

Zep 3:20  At that time will I bring you in, and at that time will I gather you; for I will make you to be a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I turn your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

Second Half:

While putting this together, another concept opened up for which I had meant to do another study on and kept forgetting, so before I forget again, I have included it because it is quite relevant. I’ll attempt to keep it brief if I can because this subject is so incredibly rich and deep and the understanding that came about on this topic has taken years of study to form. Anyway, pressing on…..

It appears that the JPS has very similar wording so this will be the comparative version used against the KJV. I use the KJV for many reasons, one of which is because we do have Strong’s concordance to unpack the Hebraic meanings of English words.

In Genesis, Eve was formed from Adam’s rib, but the actual word used is defined as “side”. When “Adam” was first created, He was made male and female. I know this is a difficult concept to grasp for some, but stay with me because our God created man in HIS IMAGE and since HE is the ALL of Creation, that He has in HIM, both the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Ruach ha Kodesh and this is the feminine aspect of HIM), it stands to reason then, that Eve would be the physical manifestation of HIS Wisdom, the womb, the mother of all living, the creative force in the flesh, that is EVE.

So, let’s look at another verse in Zephaniah:

(JPS)  Behold, at that time I will deal with all them that afflict thee; and I will save her that is lame, and gather her that was driven away; and I will make them to be a praise and a name, whose shame hath been in all the earth.

(KJV)  Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

(KJV+)  Behold,H2009 at thatH1931 timeH6256 I will undoH6213 (H853) allH3605 that afflictH6031 thee: and I will saveH3467 (H853) her that halteth,H6760 and gatherH6908 her that was driven out;H5080 and I will getH7760 them praiseH8416 and fameH8034 in everyH3605 landH776 where they have been put to shame.H1322

H6760  her that halteth,H6760

צלע

tsâla‛

tsaw-lah'

A primitive root; probably to curve; used only as denominative from H6763, to limp (as if one sided): - halt.

H6763

צלעה    צלע

tsêlâ‛  tsal‛âh

tsay-law', tsal-aw'

From H6760; a rib (as curved), literally (of the body) or figuratively (of a door, that is, leaf); hence a side, literally (of a person) or figuratively (of an object or the sky, that is, quarter); architecturally a timber (especially floor or ceiling) or plank (single or collectively, that is, a flooring): - beem, board, chamber, corner, leaf, plank, rib, side (chamber).

There are even deeper things here as this all ties in to the Ark of the Covenant also, but there is not enough room for this study here. In short, when EVE was taken out of ADAM, both became somewhat INCOMPLETE. Both HALT to some degree.

When we find a mate and we marry we become one flesh but it is a meer shadow pattern of the reunion of Jesus and His Bride.

There is even much more to say about His name which also reflects this division, secrets can be revealed in the Hebrew name in Exodus 3:14. It is only HALF of His name and the other half is found in the Greek name for Eve. Here are both:

Exo_3:14  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Exo 3:14  And GodH430 saidH559 untoH413 Moses,H4872 I AMH1961 THATH834 I AM:H1961 and he said,H559 ThusH3541 shalt thou sayH559 unto the childrenH1121 of Israel,H3478 I AMH1961 hath sentH7971 me untoH413 you.

H1961   “I AM” (EHYEH)

היה

hâyâh

haw-yaw'

A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use.

The above Name should be pronounced as EHYEH (or phonetically – eh-yeh)

Eve:

1Ti_2:13  For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

1Ti 2:13  ForG1063 AdamG76 was firstG4413 formed,G4111 thenG1534 Eve.G2096

G2096  “EVE”  (YOO-AH)

Εὖα

Eua

yoo'-ah

Of Hebrew origin [H2332]; Eua (or Eva, that is, Chavvah), the first woman: - Eve.

Consider this that if Eve’s name is pronounced “yoo-ah”.

When we look at the WHOLE NAME  which was given to Moses LATER on in chapter 6, we find something remarkable:

Exo_6:3  And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name YHWH (eh-yeh—yoo-ah) was I not known to them.

Exo_6:3  And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name YHWH (EHYEH-EUA)was I not known to them.

His Name will be complete when the union of Bridegroom and Bride takes place at the Wedding of all weddings happens. Silence for 7 days during the feast of the wedding.

Zec_14:9  And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

This sort of digresses from the original topic somewhat but the spirit leads and I have to obey. His NAME we are to call upon in these days and knowing His name is paramount and knowing the power of that name and calling on it. It all ties in.
