5th month, 12th day according to YHWH's Calendar in Enoch

New Moon(s) appears in  21 verses

In all instances we find this definition:

H2320

חדשׁ

chôdesh

kho'-desh

From H2318; the new moon; by implication a month: - month (-ly), new moon.

H2318

חדשׁ

châdash

khaw-dash'

A primitive root; to be new; causatively to rebuild: - renew, repair.

Do we really know if it means new moon or renewed month?

The word "moon" we find in 51 verses and this is the definition:

H3394

ירח

yârêach

yaw-ray'-akh

From the same as H3391; the moon: - moon.

H3391

ירח

yerach

yeh'-rakh

From an unused root of uncertain signification; a lunation, that is, month: - month, moon.

So, which is it? It seems that there is not enough clarification to know for certain. We are left only with how these words have been interpreted from the Hebrew and also left (according to the definitions) with ambiguous words that could mean either "month" or "moon".

LAW OF FIRST MENTION sets the bar. It establishes the definition or meaning of words and/or phrases and concepts found in scripture. Scholars developed this rule so why is it so completely ignored with certain words???

The very first mention of MOON in the Hebrew the word is Yer’each. Therefore this SHOULD be that anywhere else from that point forward, we find the word MOON it should be that the true Hebrew word is also found.

So now that we have established that, let’s look at the Hebrew word CHODESH and its variants.   Applying LAW OF FIRST MENTION this word is first found here:

SANCTIFIED

Gen 2:3  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

H6942

קדשׁ

qâdash

kaw-dash'

A primitive root; to be (causatively make, pronounce or observe as) clean (ceremonially or morally): - appoint, bid, consecrate, dedicate, defile, hallow, (be, keep) holy (-er, place), keep, prepare, proclaim, purify, sanctify (-ied one, self), X wholly.

Exo 3:5  And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

H6944

קדשׁ

qôdesh

ko'-desh

From H6942; a sacred place or thing; rarely abstractly sanctity: - consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (X most) holy (X day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary.

So, a first thought might be……wait a minute! That word begins with a QUF and not a CHET! Let’s explore this more.

H6946

קדשׁ

qâdêsh

kaw-dashe'

The same as H6945; sanctuary; Kadesh, a place in the Desert: - Kadesh. Compare H6947.

Please NOTE in the above word, that in English, we find they have used the letter “K”, yet this word is in the same family of words and the proper English name is spelled with a K.

One might then think that it has just been used so we might know how to pronounce the word and to some degree this is true. Yet, even in the Hebrew letter itself we find that even the three letters used to show the letter QUF we find they will always use KUF or KOF instead. In fact these obvious clues can be found all over scripture and are not confined to this one circumstance and can be found in proper names and places.

For the serious student attempting to dig for truth, the scriptures are a huge wealth of opportunity to do so. Names have subtle spelling changes that to the surface reader, can be glossed over and not given another thought.

So we have letter changes, the addition of vowels (to a language that originally did not include any) and punctuation grammar that separates concepts and verses that should not be separated (thereby changing the meaning and understanding).

Hebrew should always be considered at the ROOT word FIRST. If that means digging down through the Strong’s definitions to get to it, then do so.

A concept termed “Plug and Play” can then be applied. What is meant by that?

When we come across a word we want to look up in Hebrew, we dig and list all the possible meanings given throughout that specific word trail. Each meaning is listed on a separate line by itself.

Then take each meaning in it’s singular thought and PLUG it in where the English word was that you were looking for. The one that makes the most sense is the one that most likely applies.

Always pray before studying and ask Abba Father for His discernment and, if you feel you’ve found the correct meaning, always ask for a confirmation and He is faithful to deliver.

So, having said all of this, now that you have read all of this, look to the words for MOON and NEW MOON in the Hebrew and consider them carefully.

We find a letter swap (Quf for Chet).

We find multiple variations using vowels with subtle definition changes.

We find word trails that lead us back to ROOT words.

The errors that mislead with regard to MOON and NEW MOON are only one example. But this example is a crucial one if we are to truly know God’s REAL CALENDAR.

There is nothing HOLY or CLEAN or SANCTIFIED about the moon. It does not govern God’s months, but mankind uses it to govern his.

Further, searching out the languages of the earth to see what their word is for Saturday, Seven, or Sabbath, is a secular proof that the day we call Saturday is indeed the Sabbath day.

These same languages of the earth also help us to understand that the word MOON in any language (such as LUNA in Spanish) is found alongside whatever word is used for whatever particular phase the moon is in. Search for yourself and be amazed.

All of this work presented is to lay the proper and true foundation for the true RENEWED MONTHS and how they come about and the part the intercalary Sabbaths (these RENEW the next month) of which there are FOUR, evenly spaced in between every 3 months of 30 days each.

In fact, we can easily see this concept in the Compass Rose, a circle of 360deg with pointers for North, South, East and West.

God’s true calendar is PERPETUAL, just like a circle. It is flawless, perfect and just as it is written in Enoch it is PRECISE.

There is much more to say on this subject, more than can be put into one document. After laying this all out and seeing how it worked, it does something very wonderful. All the verses or concepts for which scholars have raged in debate over the years are all cleared up.

God has declared in His Torah (the benchmark books for which lay the foundation of truth) that Israel should not use sun, moon or stars. He goes on to say that these were given to the nations, but NOT Israel.

Further proof can be found in the book of Revelation:

Rev 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

  • Actually, after viewing several images of a Compass Rose, the Enoch Calendar Wheel depicted in the previous comment and also found in larger scale in the link provided gives us a much easier understanding.

  • While this is NOT a Compass Rose, it does show the same concept:

    Divine Year Calendar Wheel
