The title Son of Man is found 93 times in Ezekiel. In the KJV the title is down played with lower case letters causing the reader to overlook any connection with Jesus Christ and how He addressed Himself. In the JPS however, capitalization has remained intact and faithful to the original Hebrew text. In this study JPS is used unless otherwise shown

Chapter 2 is a direct reflection of the mandate that was given to Jesus to reach the sheep of the lost House of Israel. Jesus delivered His message regardless of whether anyone listened and when they scoffed at Him. He obeyed the Voice of His Father.

The last verse of chapter 1 appears to tie directly in to the first verse of chapter 2. In fact they blend and most likely should have just been one entire chapter combined as it would flow more easily. I have included Eze 1:28 for the sake of clarity.

Eze 1:28  As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

Eze 2:1  And He said unto me: 'Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.'

Eze 2:2  And spirit entered into me when He spoke unto me, and set me upon my feet; and I heard Him that spoke unto me.

Eze 2:3  And He said unto me: 'Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to rebellious nations, that have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me, even unto this very day;

See Matt 10:6 and 15:24

Eze 2:4  and the children are brazen-faced and stiff-hearted, I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them: Thus saith the Lord GOD.

Eze 2:5  And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear - for they are a rebellious house - yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

Eze 2:6(DRB)  And thou, O son of man, fear not, neither be thou afraid of their words: for thou art among unbelievers and destroyers, and thou dwellest with scorpions. Fear not their words, neither be thou dismayed at their looks: for they are a provoking house.

Eze 2:7  And thou shalt speak My words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.

Eze 2:8  And thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee: be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house; open thy mouth, and eat that which I give thee.'

Eze 2:9  And when I looked, behold, a hand was put forth unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

Eze 2:10  and He spread it before me, and it was written within and without; and there was written therein lamentations, and moaning, and woe.

Ezekiel is being told, whether they regard the message or not, even if they scoff, he is to deliver it, he is to be obedient in his mission.

Paul has a few things to say:

Eph_4:18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Heb_10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:27  But [instead] a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

The knowledge of the truth is God’s Commandments. His truth was given to Moses to convey to Israel, because the people were so afraid of God’s own voice. Had they been brave and bold for God, they could have heard him directly themselves.

Heb 10:28  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Those that died during the time of Moses, before Jesus showed up, died without mercy (propitiation) under two or three witnesses.

Heb 10:29  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing,[rendered it unclean and profane] and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Wow, pretty heavy. Even greater punishment for those who have received the Blood of Christ, calling themselves Christians, by this same Blood they were sanctified, making that same blood unholy (because holy and sanctified are the SAME THING) and doing so even within the confines of the Spirit of Grace.

As I type this out, as I feel the sheer weight and gravity of this message which truly in 32 years of reading and studying scripture, have not fully received the understanding of these words UNTIL TODAY  the heaviness in my heart for the many who have no grasp of what this might mean, having gone about their lives as if they have their free pass into heaven, being told once saved always saved and so also by grace alone.

According to these words in Hebrew, this is not the case. Perhaps for Gentiles (further study is needed) but not for Israel. Not for the lost sheep of the house of Israel for which Ezekiel (Son of Man AKA Jesus Christ and, AND His disciples whom He commissioned with getting this message out) was mandated and directed by God to say it no matter what.

Let me add one final message. I was a “straight Christian from 1981 until 2006 when God brought a ten year growing conviction regarding His Sabbath to fruition and completion in knowledge. We began keeping His Sabbath with knowledge of the truth. KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.

Heb_10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:27  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Since that time, if we fell outside of covenant (after knowing this truth) we were corrected.

You want to know how, then contact me privately. It took 3 more years, in 2009 we began keeping His Appointed Times beginning with Passover that year and since that time, any time we have failed to stay on the path, if we strayed to the right or the left we were corrected.

Because we repented of our trespasses of the Covenant, He was faithful to continue to bless us. Had we remained in our sins and wandered away from what we had found to be HIS TRUTH, we would be then, in for greater punishment BECAUSE of the BLOOD OF JESUS.

An atheist has a better chance than those who desecrate the Blood of Christ Jesus.

Folks, understand this:

God blessed and sanctified the 7th day LONG before Israel in the wilderness. At the first week of Creation! For all mankind, not just Jews, not just Israel.

It was not a Jew who was created on the 6th day. It was not an Israelite who was created on the 6th day. It was mankind, all of mankind has been given this mandate.

Our God does not change. His word stands forever. A King’s word, once spoken, once written down cannot be broken. Jesus is our king. Jesus is the Word and the Word was with God in the beginning (John 1:1)(Gen 1:1 hidden Aleph Tau reveals this see more on this site).

Jesus was fully obedient to His Father. We are supposed to be fully obedient to Him also. If we lack in one area :

Mat 5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Mat 5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

If we lack in one area……..we will be least…..LEAST in the Kingdom.

Paul said this and his words have been not only misunderstood, but poorly translated to the detriment of the reader who desires understanding:

Rom 10:4  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Christians have been taught this means the law has ended, no more law. We don’t need to be obedient to His Word. Let’s look more closely at the Greek word which reveals much more than what has been taught.

G5056

τέλος

telos

tel'-os

From a primary word τέλλω tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare G5411.

A GOAL TO BE ACHIEVED. WE MUST STRIVE TO BE LIKE JESUS FULLY OBEDIENT TO THE FATHER AND HIS WORD.

G5411

φόρος

phoros

for'-os

From G5342; a load (as borne), that is, (figuratively) a tax (properly an individual assessment on persons or property; whereas G5056 is usually a general toll on goods or travel): - tribute.

A REDEMPTION BRIDE PRICE PAID IN FULL

G5342

φέρω

pherō̄

fer'-o

A primary verb (for which other and apparently not cognate ones are used in certain tenses only; namely οἴω oiō̄̄ and ἐνέγκω enegkō̄ to “bear” or carry (in a very wide application, literally and figuratively: - be, bear, bring (forth), carry, come, + let her drive, be driven, endure, go on, lay, lead, move, reach, rushing, uphold.

JESUS HAS BORN THE WEIGHT OF THE BURDEN OF THE PUNISHMENT OF DEATH FOR BREAKING THE LAW FOR WHICH THE PUNISHMENT WAS DEATH. HE DIED IN OUR PLACE.

What most people don’t realize is that the Covenant made with God at mount Sinai between Israel and YHWH, is still in effect. Today. His word stands forever. We have missed that point.

That the word goes on to say that the contract is legally binding to heirs of Israel, that is descendants, living today among the Gentiles, AMONG the Gentiles, scattered across the earth, having been divinely stripped of all memory of their heritage, yet STILL legally bound to the covenant, were given a way out (God found a loophole, “LET’S CHANGE THE BLOOD, IT’S STILL A BLOOD ATONEMENT SO MY WORD IS STILL INTACT AND I STILL AM A GOD WHO DOES NOT CHANGE.”)

THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON WHO CARRIED HIS OWN BLOOD, ETERNAL, NOT MORTAL ANIMAL TEMPORARY; INCORRUPTIBLE, NOT CORRUPTIBLE; WITHOUT SIN, PERFECT AND DIVINE.

For anyone to say that a Christian has lost their way if they keep the Commandments, we have not. Instead we have found our way. Our ancestors entered into covenant with the LIVING GOD thousands of years ago, then lost their way and God scattered them. The contract, the marriage vows, the Covenant remains in effect to this day, the only thing that changed was the TYPE of blood.

Those who have found their way back to their family’s legally binding marriage to God are Israel and they have renewed their vows, re-entered in to relationship with the Great I AM.

Truly, we are not lost, we are found.

Read in Leviticus, how the High Priest must cleanse and prepare himself FIRST before he can intercede on behalf of Israel, and that when he does perform the rites of atonement, it includes even those who have sinned in ignorance of committing a breach in contract.

BECAUSE…….the lost sheep of the House of Israel, can be found within Christianity today.

BECAUSE……. The lost sheep of the House of Israel are still legally bound to the original Mt. Sinai Covenant, but have breached, through not keeping these commandments.

BECAUSE…..this means they are still subject to death,

BUT….Jesus came, carrying the eternal blood of His Father, in order to offer us a way out of death for eating pork, not keeping the Sabbath, etc.

Jesus is not giving us a free pass to continue in our sins. While death might not be on the table anymore, judgment to decide where we belong in the kingdom still is. If anyone breaks the least commandment and TEACHES others to do so, they will be least in the kingdom.

Now Reader, if you’re still not convinced, then let’s look at another mistaught concept regarding only two commandments:

Mat 22:36  Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38  This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38  This is the first and great commandment.

Did Jesus have more to say on this subject of loving god with all your heart? Yes.

(Joh 14:15 KJV)  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

(Joh 15:10 KJV)  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

If we love God, we will keep His Commandments.

The second:

Mat 22:39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

THE SECOND IS LIKE UNTO IT.

This means we are to walk in obedience and share this knowledge with our neighbors. Not just the folks next door but our BRETHREN.

This is exactly what Jesus was doing. This is exactly what He told his disciples to do. This is exactly what we must do.

And if you still don’t know who exactly you are; If you still cannot see the truth right before your eyes about WHO Israel is, then consider these words of Jesus again:

Joh 10:27  My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

(Mat 10:6 KJV)  But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

(Mat 15:24 KJV)  But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

If you have been led to Jesus Christ (He is our Shepherd gathering His flock).

If you have answered the call (of the Shepherd)

Then ask God Almighty this question:

Father, am I of Israel?? Will You show me this?
