Sabbath, 7th DotW

Praise, Honor and Glory to the Most High, Father of the Universe and His only Begotten Jesus Christ, EHYEHshua ha Meschiach, the great I AM!!!

Since 1985 I have been reading the Bible from front to back then starting over again. Like so many Christians, not fully understanding, but pressing on in the hopes that at some point, things will come together and understanding will flow.

A  few instances along the way that prompted a leap, an increase or quickening which would launch me into a higher level of understanding. From 1981 when I became a Christian, until 1996, my walk, my studying was sluggish even though for eleven years of that time I was increasing my time spent in study. The milestones came at these points:

  1. When I acquired a copy of the JPS Torah ( 1996)
  2. When I read the Apocryphon of John (Nag Hammadi Library, 1996)
  3. Migrating from the NIV to KJV ( 1997)
  4. When coming into full knowledge and conviction about keeping the Sabbath (2006)

All of the above led to remarkable insight but the last one, keeping the Sabbath was an absolutely powerful catapult. Since that time, God has revealed some amazing things with regard to His Seventh day. I can say with solid certainty that the day we call Saturday, the day of Sabbath which begins for Judaism on Friday evening at sundown, is unequivocally the Sabbath, the 7th day and no other day of the week is it and no lunar cycle changes it and no solar cycle changes it. It is a day, the only day which God has placed His blessing on, sanctifying it as such and the enemy cannot touch it or change it. Man has, but not God.

The 5th event or time which has caused a quickening has just recently passed us. On September 23rd, 2017, what has become known as the Rev12 sign occurred. Everyone thought for sure it was connected to the “Rapture” and when it passed as a non event , many became discouraged.

When we began keeping the Biblical Feast days in 2009, we did so according to the Jewish lunar system and the angst of not knowing the sighting of the moon until it happened coupled with these feast days then possibly occurring on inconvenient days was for us as I suspect for most, quite burdensome. I began working on God’s calendar system in 2010, trying to understand it from the Book of Enoch. I hit roadblocks mostly due to the hard coded (in us) programming of our Gregorian system. I could not figure out how to reconcile the four additional intercalary days noted in the Book of Enoch. I found myself trying to follow along with others who claimed they had figured it out. Since our solar year is 365.2422 days long and the Divine Year Calendar (DYCAL) is a total of 364 (precisely), then of course these calendar masters would either dismiss the shift at the end of the year, or reset according to equinoxes and just plain ignore any extra days. In short, they were trying to fit a heavenly calendar (used in a place where there is no time) into a physically scientific solar year. Clearly this cannot work the way they have calculated. The mistake, the flaw is the attempt to do this without fully understanding the intercalary days and their specific purpose and that they are and always will be on 7th days. These intercalary days are Sabbaths. Special Sabbaths which space, in-between (in four places) the months every 3 months. When applied in this manner, some absolutely amazing results become apparent and the Scriptures open up and reveal many hidden mysteries based upon this DYCAL.

So by now seeking student, you must be wondering how this ties in with the subject matter at hand. I cannot say for certain except that when the Spirit leads, I follow. All I can really say is that I believe it is directly due to figuring out that this calendar is Sabbath framed, that led to a revelation regarding the Rev12 sign as being God’s way of telling us that THAT day, (the actual event fell within the Roman understanding of a day, but actually did occurr in the evening, after or at sundown, making it the 1st day of the week, what we call Sunday, but what most likely was the timing of the actual birth of Christ, His birthday being on the 1st day of the Feast of Tabernacles, being then the 15th day of the 7th month.

Now, having said all of that, we can see that the Book of Ezekiel is about Jesus  (Son of Man) and about his coming for the lost sheep of the House of Israel known today as Ephraim, (these being a mixed multitude) them being among the Gentile nations, they being Ephraim (America is) as the leading Christian nation in the world which parallels the appointing of Jeroboam (from the tribe of Ephraim) by Solomon to be leader of the Ten tribes, know to us as the house of Israel. That everything he did (Jeroboam) when he rebelled, paints an incredible picture of Christianity today and how we (the lost sheep) practice our faith. We blame Constantine and we do so in error. It began with Jeroboam first.

There is so much in the Book of Ezekiel and it begins with the phrase “Son of man”. This is what YHWH called him. My question is why? After studying the Messianic bloodlines beginning with Adam’s son Seth, knowing this was how Jesus referred to Himself, we can at least glean from that.

Finding also that YHWH asks Ezekiel to speak in riddles to the House of Israel, calling them also parables (Eze 17:2).

We know that Israel was allowed to live in the land of Goshen. This area was geographically located in what is called “lower Egypt”. It is also the land which rivers divide/spoil. If we allow ourselves to consider the remarkable “coincidences” of descriptive details that seem to parallel Egypt (where Ephraim/Israel lived) and America, if we have that as our mindset regardless of what we believe otherwise, being open minded, some amazing things begin to emerge.

We must look at the Book of Ezekiel with a new set of eyes which go beyond the narrow constraints of current doctrinal beliefs. If we are to understand God’s word, we must also take what we know about God and apply it. Is He narrow-minded? Does He only know things within a narrow band of knowledge? The simple and direct answer is no. So, with that in mind, we must do our best to meet with Him when we study, read and pray. Not doing it within the confines of what we know, but breaking out with open minds and hearts through praying asking for the blessing of the gift of discernment.

  • more from Ezekiel and this also belongs in the Purim post.

Eze 19:10 Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she brought foorth fruite and branches by the abundant waters,
Eze 19:11 And she had strong rods for the scepters of them that beare rule, and her stature was exalted among the branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.
Eze 19:12 But she was plucked vp in wrath: she was cast downe to the ground, & the East winde dried vp her fruite: her branches were broken, & withered: as for the rod of her strength, the fire consumed it.
Eze 19:13 And now she is planted in the wildernes in a drie and thirstie ground.
Eze 19:14 And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath deuoured her fruite, so that she hath no strong rod to be a scepter to rule: this is a lamentation and shalbe for a lamentation.
